The Learn-Lean Kaizen Board is a complete package that guides you to initiate new ideas for small improvement steps together in a team and to develop them further in accordance with the PDCA philosophy. Every kind of improvement idea is written down on structured Kaizen cards and fixed on the board by green magnetic buttons. Depending on the progress of implementation the Kaizen cards are transferred to the appropriate section of the PDCA circle. In case of schedule delays the color of the magnetic buttons is changed to orange thus signaling implementation problems.

The number of improvement ideas contributed and the implementation rate are ascertained by means of key performance indicators. After the last phase of the PDCA circle, completed and implemented ideas are archived in the history box.

Included in the scope of delivery are the Kaizen board W x H 135 x 110 cm (approx. 53.1 x 43.3 inch), 25 magnetic buttons each green and orange, 250 Kaizen cards, 5 magnetic key performance sheets, two storage boxes for Kaizen cards, and a magnetic manual.

The board is supplied for wall mounting. T-shaped pedestals of grey painted steel - without or with lockable castors - are available as accessory. The board is connected at two fixing points per pedestal allowing easy mounting and demounting. Alternatively, a version equipped with a solid rolling frame of grey painted steel, tightly screwed with the board, can be obtained.

Kaizen is the basic instrument for continuous improvement. The success stories of many companies started from step-by-step improvement and fast implementation. The Learn-Lean Kaizen Board strenghtens group cohesion, inspires and multiplies the creative powers of every single team member. Any improvement suggestion is documented on the board instantly and presented to

the group at a given point in time. Optionally the idea can be elaborated further in team. Better results, 100% up-to-dateness and full acceptance by all staff concerned are the positive impact.

Fast and target-oriented implementation is performed by the four phase concept PDCA. The visual characterization of every phase makes bottlenecks

evident at first sight. The immediate identification of problems enables a faster processing of improvement ideas. The Learn-Lean Kaizen Board represents a sophisticated system for the implementation of an efficient and longterm sustainable optimization cycle.

Each improvement suggestion arising in everyday work is recorded by means of a Learn-Lean Kaizen Card. The card is designed to complete the fields as it were under structured guidance. You affix the card in the first section "Plan" on the Learn-Lean Kaizen Board by means of a magnetic button.

At defined intervals the team meets to debate on the improvement suggestions.

Optionally the idea will be elaborated further in team and transferred to the next phase "Do" for implementation. In case of schedule delays the color of the magnetic buttons is changed to orange thus signaling implementation problems.

Following any further phase of the PDCA circle other fields of the Kaizen cards are filled in and cards are positioned by means of magnetic buttons in the

appropriate section of the PDCA circle. Finished and implemented suggestions are archived in a history box. Key figures in the history chart indicate the proportion of initiated and implemented improvement suggestions.
