Learn-Lean Value Boards are magnet-adhering boards. A functional standardized grid is imprinted on the writable surface. The assisting lines of the grid provide orientation making the use of Value Magnets or other Learn-Lean methods easy.
Learn-Lean Value Boards are available in two sizes: standard size W x H 130 x 66 cm (approx. 51.2 x 26 inch) and extended size W x H 170 x 66 cm (approx. 67 x 26 inch).
Thanks to their low height you can mount two boards one below the other to compare actual and future state at a glance. Thanks to their compatibility any application of Learn-Lean products is programmed for success: professional, qualified, and pedagogically elaborated.
Boards are supplied for wall mounting. T-shaped pedestals of grey painted steel - without or with lockable castors - are available as accessory.
The board is connected at two fixing points per pedestal allowing easy mounting and demounting. Alternatively, a version equipped with a solid rolling frame of grey painted steel, tightly screwed with the board, can be obtained.
The magnetic symbols of the different Learn-Lean methods are designed to fit with the grid dimensions of the Learn-Lean boards. Depending on case you can apply different methods on a Value Board:
value stream analysis, organizational structure analysis, information structure analysis, SIPOC, flow diagrams, A3 Problem Solving, Four-Fields Structured Interview, ...
Light grey shades provide the lanes necessary for value stream analysis and design in the administrative sector.
Using a Learn-Lean Value Board you can visualize several methods
simultaneously on one board,
e. g. a combination of value stream
analysis and SIPOC, value stream analysis and A3,
a combination of production and office value streams, value stream and information structure analysis, and many other combinations.
Size and length of a value stream are difficult to estimate accurately on the first application. Mistakes concerning arrangement or centering of the visualization are mostly inevitable. Thanks to the assisting lines of the grid linear positioning and shifting of the magnets is very simple.
The communication of results must be an integrated part of every analysis. The Value Board enables you to demonstrate a value stream or other analyses directly in the shopfloor or meeting room. The Value Board is a permanent and integral tool for visualizing your improvement activities. If, for instance, the value
stream analysis is your ultimative improvement tool, you are able to present any alteration on the magnetic board in the shopfloor. Thus, your coworkers are always informed about all work parameters, either by the eye-catching visual representation or by the shopfloor meetings.
